With fully equipped meeting rooms and African Sun expertise on tap, expect nothing less than a coordinated operation from beginning to end. The dedicated staff at the business centre were always on hand, so I never felt too remote from my office. This Ghana hotel has a wide selection of rooms on offer, so whatever the purpose or length of your stay, you’ll feel at home. All rooms have high-speed internet access, satellite television and mini-bar. With 24-hour room service too, even being on the top floor I didn’t need to leave the comfort of my personal living space to work late into the night.

After a day out in the Ghanaian heat a mouth-watering selection awaited me, fully prepared by the in-house chefs. Whether you’re in the mood for a feast or simply a light snack, the Wiase Restaurant is open all day. La Cabona Pool Bar and Restaurant offered a more informal atmosphere, where I could continue my al fresco conversation late into the evening. If you’re preparing for a night on the town, pay a visit to the beauty salon for top-to-toe treatment, but if it’s a full body work-out that you’re after, the gym is open 24-hours a day. The sparkling pool lets you cool off afterwards to end the day truly refreshed.
