Obudu Mountain Resort is unique as a world class resort and the jewel of the popular Cross River tourist region. Nestling on the picturesque plateau on the Oshie Ridge of the Sankwala Mountains. It is located 110 kilometres East of Ogoja, 65 kilometres from the town of Obudu and a five hour hike from the Cameroon border.

The resort which is 24 square kilometres in size has capitalised on its altitude to provide guests with the best view points and fresh, invigorating mountain air. A short walk takes you to the spectacular grotto. This natural swimming pool with sparkling pure water provides a clear view of the long winding waterfall and green mountain ranges surround the natural reserve.

The reserve is also home to rare species of birds and other animals such as the gorilla and drill monkey. The bird watching never fails to fascinate visitors and for the energetic, horse riding in the area is an exhilarating experience.
