"Living a Kings lifestyle at The Kingdom Hotel"

Posted on March 18, 2013
I had a marvelous stay in Victoria Falls at The Kingdom Hotel. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent restaurant too. Very close to the Falls only a Five minutes walk and not forgetting the Singing and dancing group i really enjoyed.

"Came here for business and investment meetings and loved it"

Posted on October 9, 2012
Love the hotel was so clean and the staff were so helpful. They even let me stay in the room after checkout time since my helicopter had not arrived to take us back to the plant. All in all a wonderful experience in a great place. jasonhellhammer@yahoo.com

"Watch Out if You Use WIFI"

Posted on June 17, 2012
We recently stayed at The Kingdom for four nights and after our return found that during the use of the WIFI at the hotel our email accounts were hijacked and numerous bogus emails were sent out under our email addresses. Better to not use their "free" WIFi as it ends up cousing hours of frustration as you explain to people that you did not send any emails with questionable links.

"Pleasant Surprise"

Posted on May 9, 2011
After reading the reviews, we were not expecting much however we were very impressed with the beautiful furniture & decor, friendly staff & great service. The hotel is ideally situated close to the Falls, town & market. We also enjoyed meals at Panarotti's & Spur which was based at the hotel. The hotel is wonderfully maintained and it was a pleasure staying there because everyone was so friendly and eager to please. Enjoyed my Gatineau Deep Cleansing Facial at the beauty salon. However you should think about catering for Muslim guests too as there were quite a few over the weekend. Keep up the good work & thanks for the wonderful stay. We'll cherish our memories at The Kingdom Hotel.

"Very disappointed"

Posted on May 4, 2011
Upon arriving at the hotel I was most impressed with the furniture, decor and facilities. However when we got to breakfast the next morning is when I was in for a very big surprise. The tables were dirty and placemats and chairs had to be cleaned twice and then they were still quite sticky. There was one server for eggs, omelettes pancakes and bacon to serve over 300 guests. He then proceeds to beat the eggs one at a time with a FORK. They continuously ran out of cereals and fruit. There was no fresh milk. That afternoon we were told there were no towels by the pool because they were not returned by laundry. The second day I was told there was no laundry service at all because of technical difficulties which I later heard was no water which lasted to the 3rd and 4th day aswell. So I asked for some detergent to wash my clothes in the bath - they could not help me. We also had to beg for towels that day because there was no laundry. I hurt myself and needed some ice - was told their ice machine didn't work so well so had to wait 2 hours until my husband went and complained. Wi-fi is available but for an extra fee of $5. They did provide me with a wheelchair when I hurt myself but unfortunately it was broken. I have to say that when we complained a very friendly service provider came and apologised but they couldn't help. The service was very slow and we often had to ask 2 and 3 and 4 times for the same thing. I think personally that you have a great hotel but the staff need some training and maybe some additional help. They try very hard but are not equipped. What a waste of a most beautiful place.
