"Awesome and adventurous stay"Posted on January 14, 2011
Coming from a stressful work week in Lagos, a visit to Obudu couldn't have been at a better time. The 50km snake-like bike ride to the top of the resort was a once-in-lifetime experience. The holiday atmosphere was so friendly that making new friends came easy and the service was excellent. By the time I was checking out, I was ready to re-live the moments all over again.
"Great visit"Posted on June 2, 2010
Wow! this was definitely my most spoken word on the mountain. To be so close to the clouds was a really thrilling experience. My stay was very splendid. the tours were the best times for me, the best. I'm still trying to get over my obudu mountain resort hang-over. IT WAS SWEET!!!!
"OMR experience"Posted on March 3, 2010
The air is sweet and edible. The nights are period to look forward to. The environment is a testimony of GOD's handiwork especially with a ride on the the cable car up and down the mountains. Very serene place. God you too much.
"I was curious"Posted on January 29, 2010
I went by road via Enugu, Abakaliki & Obudu town. I went in february 2009, because I was afraid that the road conditions would be bad. And indeed the road from Abakaliki to Obudu was awful. I slept overnight in Obudu. I enjoyed the final leg from Obodu town to the Ranch.
I stayed in a private home close to the ranch. For 3 days I strolled the area. The ranch really needs to be better promoted. There were just about three of us in the ranch. For one thing the ranch should not be billed as "The ultimate West African destination for the WORLDS AFFLUENT". You need everybody to go there. Much as I can afford some of the room rates, it does not match other places in the price range. Having said that I love the serene beauty of the area. I had it all to my self. I plan to be back.
